Save Power Everywhere

I think  i am repeating this article in my blog many times. First off all sorry for that. Still i have seen many people are not switching off their equipment after use. If i am insisting them to do it, they were getting angry and they were asking me "The world is not going to get benefited  , if only i switch off the equipment " .
But my point is if i am switching off, few people will follow me and they will also will get inspired on you and they will save power. You can ask me why we need to save power and what benefits in it.
Say if your TV is on and no one is watching it 30 mins per day  and its equivalent to wasting one day of power per 50 days. This will prevent the shut down , which recently happened on Northern part of India.
In addition, you are saving some of the Earth resources to be used to generate that power.

What Indian Economy Lacks?

Being the biggest Democratic country in the world, it's always a tough job to control anti-social activity . But we have a large population and many people are interested to join the defense system , then why we are weak in defense when compared to other countries like China,America,etc...
Rather than investing so much money on defense, why not these  government be strict against terrorism and corruption.
Still how may fasting did Anna Hazare need to take for achieving this goal ?
There was a saying in late 90's a cost of a vada is 50 paise and the cost of a call is Rs.5/- , but now its vice versa. Through a modern technology, we can bring down the cost price of  a phone call, why cant we bring down the vegetable and food prices. Why the inflation is up ?
Through illegal market business is reaching upto 55,000 crores . This is a biggest loss to Indian economy... So whats the solution for all these things.

Fight Against Corruption !!!

[* If the figures mentioned in the article is not right, please excuse me... My intention is Indian economy should come up,inflation should go down  and its should benefit all of us.]

Reduce Traffic Sensibly

Traffic is the deadliest and boring  word for all the people who need to travel in the city. Though the city management come up with flyovers and underlay bridges to overcome the traffic at busy junction/cross roads was not adequate because of the drastic increase in population in urban areas. If you ask me a solution , what i would suggest is manage the traffic sensibly.
Say there is a a busy road in the city, which has denser volume of 10,000 vehicles per day. So first we need to identify whats the root cause for the traffic . If there are more than 2 malls /shopping mark/company,schools within a distance of 500 meters, such things should be shifted to a new location in order to cut down the traffic at those areas. Commercial buildings are required for market growth in that area, what i am suggesting is, if the city is growing it should be a uniform growth. So accordingly the traffic volume will go down slowly.

  •  Bus Day should be made compulsory at least once in a quarter [once in every three months]. That day there should not be any cars and bikes running [except emergency condition]  and more buses should operate on that day to avoid rushes.
  • No Single Driving should be allowed in traffic hours [expect in case of emergency]
  • Whoever have a vehicle should grow a plant/tree in their locality where they stay
    • Say if they have 2 cars and a bike, they should maintain and grow three trees/plants
  • No Heavy Vehicles should be running in the city premises at least from 6.00 a.m to 10.00 pm everyday
    • Eventhough the city transport department has this rule, still we can see some lorries /tankers are running in the city in the day time.
    • Traffic Police should be strict on them  by cancelling their permit temporarily
  • Separate lanes should be there for cyclist
    • This will promote many bicyclers in urban areas and reduce traffic

Citizens, please follow  steps taken by the government / local body who is in power to control traffic and other good initiatives which will benefit us and the society

No Power-cut on May 1

Across all regions of Tamilnadu, the biggest thing which is disturbing the common public is power cut. In cities, the power cuts ranges between two hours per day , whereas in urban areas, it ranges between 2- 10 hours. But  on May 1, there was no power cuts happened in the state. this is because  ,  most of the factories, industries were on OFF , so the  power consumption came down drastically and it met all the needed power supply for the state.
So one thing is very clear here, the government Dont have any alternative source to compensate the increasing power need in the state. the public should understand this and they should save the power which were running un-necessarily, they can use solar cells and wind energy for the alternative sources for their power need. For these kind of issues we should stop blaming  only the government and we should also be active and involved to resolve this out for a better future

Petrol may rise upto Rs.4

Sooner the petrol prices are going high. This time its going very high. The central govt is planning to increase the price to 3 - 4 Rs per litre.  It will have a big impact on the people. In the last few years, petrol prices have gone very high. At least , the govt should come up with some other transportation to reduce the traffic and decrease in demand of petrol.

Be an Environmentalist

Now-a-days, most of the people in the world are aware of global warming. There's a lot of initiatives done by many welfare organisation in many ways such as recycling, avoiding plastics, constructing Eco-friendly products and more importantly promoting awareness to the people. Its good to  hear that people start following and they are adopting all these changes. But i guess, they can do a little better. I have listed few points below, where people can make use of it

  • Dont use Lifts
    • I have seen many people going to gym in offices. But when they are in office, they use to take Lift even for 1 or 2 floor, rather than this they can actually take stairs, it would be an exercise to them as well as a chance to save power to this environment or your future
  • Avoid Plastics
    • People started taking juices or tender coconut water naturally, rather than going for packed one. Its appreciable  that they are taking juices in recycled paper glasses. But they are not realizing that straw is a plastic. If your teeth are strong , you can Avoid Straw.
  • Walk
    • Even for shopping to the nearest market, many were using their vehicle. They can actually walk to that point. If you do this, your children will start following this. Now you can be a roll model to your future generation
  • Throw garbage in Dustbins
    • If you are having some chocolates or ice creams or whatever, Dont throw the garbage tissue, paper or skin of a fruit or wrapper of candy is in Streets, throw it  in a dustbin, if the dustbin is not there, have it with you itself, throw it in dustbin later , when you find it.
Please follow this and Be an Environmentalist . If you want any points to be added , Kindly post your comments ..

Switch OFF your PC

I see most of the IT guys lock their PC before going home, even though no automation build is happening. Instead of these, we can actually switch of the PC, which will actually increase the performance of your PC. In addition, we can save some power as well. This may be our contribution to these environment by us. By switching OFF the PC, if PC has some installation issues, it would be resolved automatically.

  • You can clear your temporary files by opening the run window and type  %temp  and click Enter. It will list all your files, which you no longer needed, so you can delete them all. If you cant delete it, it means the current application is running on your PC..
Keep your PC clean and makes it run faster, as well as Save Power, by switching OFF it before you leave for the day, if you dont run any automation on it.

SAVE POWER  and GO GREEN.

ATM issues

ATM makes our transaction much better in the last decade.

  1. No more waiting in queues in bank,
  2. you can save your time,
  3.  you can even collect your money at anytime, anyplace....
Since it has all these capabilities, ATM became a huge success in the market. But theres a common problem we were facing nowadays in ATM. If you need to withdraw the money on Sundays, its becoming little tougher.

Because,Saturday is the half working day for bank, so the bank officials will refill the ATM's on Saturday Morning. People use ATM more in weekends.
So the amount would be emptied in Sunday afternoon itself. So what the people do,for the rest of the day, if they need money. This issue should be taken care and a proper remedy has to be provided to the public.
Because this issue is annoying, so please take  action on this immediately .

Dont Blame Software Industry

Software Industry helps in increasing the economy growth of the country. But many people in INDIA say that, only because of IT Sectors, the prices of all the things have gone high. But these people forget one thing, its not the fault of any Industry, its because of the people who are ruling the nation.

Income Tax raid has to be done in all political leaders and film stars houses, then automatically Indian Economy also go high and prices of the basic commoditites also will come low. This was not the fault of Software Industry. There were many political leaders who were supporting the nation and working for the benifit of the nation. But only few are not proper..

Face the summer

It’s very hot in India right now… I am discussing about the climate not anything else… Even the people can’t able to bear the temperature in the morning… If this continues, what would be the climate in the month of April and May… So everyone should be prepared to face the summer … I would give you some tips for that..
  • Drink more water, which keeps you more energetic…..
  • Walk a little in the evening, so you can inhale some fresh air which keeps your mind free…
  • Consume Butter Milk at your lunch…
  • Drink only fresh juices, avoid preservative drinks….
  • After playing heavily, don’t wash your face…
  • Use cap or umbrella in order to avoid from the rays of sun….
  • The most important thing “Bath twice in a Day” or at least “Once in a day”…..
  • Last but not least… Plant a Sapling and maintain it.. If you do so at least the future generation would be having a pleasant summer...

Green Buildings

It doesn’t mean that the buildings would be green in color. In today’s world, due to the rapid growth of real estate business many buildings with new designs have been built. But, constructing a building is not so easy one, we need huge amount of resources and power to construct it. So if we modify the architecture of the building we can save power. When u visit five star hotels, lot of lights and power are used in day time itself. But instead, the window can be placed in a right manner, so natural light can be allowed to enter the Building.

This Technique of allowing the natural Light to enter the building can be implement in all architects, houses, schools. For a green building, air-conditioners are not require at all. The best ideal example for this green buildings are Chettinad Buildings in Tamil Nadu.

They make use of the courtyards in the house, to cool the places. The Former US President Bill Clinton has selected 50 cities all over the world to build “Green Buildings”. So far, five Global Banks have came forward to finance this project each offering $1 billion as loans. In foreign countries, in a single day every lights are switched off in sake to control power. But, in India this policy may taken into account in the fore coming years. If it’s implemented then lot of power can be saved.

Three R's in a Professional Life

Today, due to the economic slowdown, the professional life was worse than ever. To be frank, three R's are dominating their life. They were Recruitment, Retention and Recession. If a guy is recruited by the company, he would be in joy. His face would be glowing like a light. The next thing is Retention, which is the hikes or perks or incentives given to him by his performance, by the company. The Professonals would be happy with the first two R's. The third thing is Recession, which act as gateway from the floor to the ground.
Every professonal in this world are facing with the third R now. I pray the almighty in behalf of all, to show a positive sign in the Professonal Life

Real Gap

It’s an easy way to differentiate an Indian student and a foreign student. For a foreign student, the way of exposure was entirely different as that to an Indian. The cultural drawback may be one of the reasons for the setback for Asians and Indians. Not only culture but also many aspects favor foreign students.
In foreign, if a student finishes his schoolings, the government takes care of him entirely. He was permitted to do part-time jobs of his own. And with his income he manages his own life. So he can stand in his own leg.
But if you consider ours, the situation is far worse. We have to study by our own, the government doesn’t cares us much when compare to the foreign student. In India, we can’t expect that from the government. Obviously, we don’t have exposure to it. For a city based guy, it’s not at all a matter. But for a rural one, it’s the matter. Hope for the better future in the fore coming days for the multi-sided growth of us.

Men Harrasment

We people very well know about Women Harassment. It’s the process of teasing women or insulting them… but the situation now changes in a reverse manner. Men Harassment is taking place in Metro Buses.Almost, every one who like to travel through bus need a seat for smooth travel. Almost, all buses allot separate seats for men and women. So, while they get into the bus they can seat in their gender seats. Now what’s the issue is, women take their own rights and they seat even in men’s seat. But no men would take this issue seriously. But in case, if men sat in women seat, they would be scolding us like anything. At those time, they would be speaking rules, call the conductor and complaint us to him. If a rule have been passed, its common to all.I personally realized this issue in my life. Once I visit Chennai for a personal work. The bus is already crowded heavily. I some-how manage and have got seated in the women seat. After few minutes, a woman approached me and says “U … R U not having any sense” .I humbly stood up and gave her seat, and then I was wondered many women were already seated in men’s seat. When I said this to that woman who scolded me, she replied coolly, “that’s not my issue.” The answer irritates me so much. If I start debating this issue, then I damn sure, everybody would come to solve this issue, but nobody would be in favor of me.
