Green Buildings

It doesn’t mean that the buildings would be green in color. In today’s world, due to the rapid growth of real estate business many buildings with new designs have been built. But, constructing a building is not so easy one, we need huge amount of resources and power to construct it. So if we modify the architecture of the building we can save power. When u visit five star hotels, lot of lights and power are used in day time itself. But instead, the window can be placed in a right manner, so natural light can be allowed to enter the Building.

This Technique of allowing the natural Light to enter the building can be implement in all architects, houses, schools. For a green building, air-conditioners are not require at all. The best ideal example for this green buildings are Chettinad Buildings in Tamil Nadu.

They make use of the courtyards in the house, to cool the places. The Former US President Bill Clinton has selected 50 cities all over the world to build “Green Buildings”. So far, five Global Banks have came forward to finance this project each offering $1 billion as loans. In foreign countries, in a single day every lights are switched off in sake to control power. But, in India this policy may taken into account in the fore coming years. If it’s implemented then lot of power can be saved.
