Saina Nehwal, indian badminton player who has been showing her excellence in Olympics 2012 had beaten Netherlands and enter into quarter player .

if she win the next match one another medal will come to India.

Is Emission test is taken by all vehciles

Indian traffic control system has  come up with a rule that all motor vehicles should undergo emission test to test the vehciles emission of carbon monoxide emitting from them . But the real question is who is following all this. The Bangalore traffic police is not serious about that.
  Still we can see many vehicles which were emitting smoke very bad in the city... especially autos .

Jwala Ashwini won womens double against Singapore

Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponappa won the match today against Singapore in the Olympics . The match was ver interesting and there were very good co-ordication between the two indian players, so it helped india to win a series of 2-0 against singapore girls.

  the first set was nail - biting, because both the teams were scoring nearer. But at the second set, indians players were leading and won finally.

Reached 10K Visitors

Its been almost four years that i started blogging, only today i have reached 10,000 visitors for my blog

Out of this 10K, 6.5 K visitors have visited only this year from Jan 2012 to till date.

Nice Improvement , but still will improve my UI and posts to reach visitors to 20 K before the end of this year.

Naughty things we did in School

School days are full of fun and enjoyment . One fine day when you just sat in your balcony with a cup of coffee and start thinking about the school , you mind will be flooded with memories . Here i am sharing some naughty things that i did when i was a kid

• Using Sharpener as a Nail Cutter
• Once i put a tamarind seed in my nose and try to pull out and insert it again, when i did it for the third time , it stuck on the nose, finally it end up in a operation to take that seed out
• Taking sick leaves to escape from Exams/Tests/Going school
• Broking chemistry lab test tubes in the name of experiments
• Write our own stories in the exams

Guruvayur Aanai Kottaram

             Guruvayur Elephant Home , located 3 km from Guruvayur, Kerala is home of ~ 80 elephants of
guruvayur krishnan temple.People who donated elephants to the temple will be maintained here.
It was recently promoted as tourist spot by kerala tourism. They charge Rs.6 for adults and Rs.5 for
children . You can take photograph as well by paying Rs.25 for still photos including camera/mobile phone.
   Rs. 200+ for digital cameras and Rs 1000 for video cameras.Each and evry elephant will be having a seperate shed and it will be maintained by 3/4 persons and each elephant has a unique name. There were few elephants which were musth as well tied with chains . Visitors are not allowed to walk close to the elephants,
because the animal can be furious when its in musth.

Cisco Laying off 1300 Employees

The worlds largest maker of computer networking equipment had reported that its laying off 1300 employees due to the market uncertainty . Cisco has  a total strength of 65000 employees, so it going to lay off 2 % of its strength in this year 2012. Last year Cisco shed about 10,000 jobs to save 1 billion $ annually.
  However they didn't reveal the details , which depeartment they are going to segregate . Cisco  had recently taken over the STB giant NDS 

Lorries running in day time

There's a rule in the city or urban areas that no heavy vehicles should come or run in the city premises from 6 am to 10 pm. But still there were many lorries which were carrying sands and other materials running in the city in the day time. To escape from cops , they take a short cut to the main road and create a hell of traffic even in the peak hours.
   If they were running in the main road, they are getting caught by the cops because the police aware that a single lorry can jam the entire road. So these lorry drivers taking short routes to avoid them. Cops should track those guys who were involved in those activities and strict action should be taken against them .
